Wawasan Dengkil is involved in the construction industry and our business can be divided into 3 main segments.

Wawasan Dengkil acts either as a main contractor or a subcontractor for construction projects. Wawasan Dengkil engages and coordinates with suppliers and subcontractors to provide the required construction materials and selected services over the course of our operations. Wawasan Dengkil generally undertakes project management for all the construction projects and outsources the bulk of the construction labour works to subcontractors.

CONSTRUCTION MATERIAL

01. Aggregate Stone

A type of rock fragment that has been subjected to mechanical processing such as crushing
It is suitable for use in concreting works, asphalt paving, construction entrances, infiltration trenches and sand filters amongst others

02. Coarse Sand

A larger sand particle generally with a diameter in the range of 2 millimetres (“mm”) to 4.76mm
It is used to make reinforced concrete structures, paver base, and as additive to soil amongst others

03. CRUSHER RUN

A blended mix of crushed rocks and stone dust
It is commonly used as foundations for a range of surface such as driveways and patios

04. fine sand

A very small sand particle generally with a diameter in the range of 0.125mm to 0.25mm
It is used for general mortar mixes, plastering, rendering and block or brick works

05. quarry dust

A residue, tailing or other non-voluble waste material produced during the crushing of stones
It is used to backfill trenches, build up low areas, pack under concrete slabs, create pipe bedding, form a base under water tanks as well as create a hard base for a variety of applications such as footpaths and arenas amongst others

06. red earth

A hard red deep clay of tropical climate containing oxidised iron
It is used as a material in the road and building construction

Wawasan Dengkil purchases only new machineries and commercial vehicles for our fleet, and is committed to purchasing only new machineries and commercial vehicles.

The ownership of machineries and commercial vehicles put Wawasan Dengkil in a better position to drive our competitiveness by increasing our capabilities and capacity to undertake more construction projects without relying on third-party providers of machineries and commercial vehicles.

Wawasan Dengkil generally prioritise the use of machineries and commercial vehicles for construction projects and will provide the unutilised and available machineries and commercial vehicles for hire.
